In Islwyn High School, we believe strong Literacy skills play a fundamental role in preparing pupils for a successful life within and beyond secondary education. As a result, Literacy underpins all lessons across the curriculum to ensure all pupils value Literacy and prioritise this within school and beyond. We are continually striving to raise standards of Literacy by challenging, supporting and equipping pupils to become resilient, independent and reflective learners.
